Coalition air defense system intercepts a Houthis ballistic missile over Marib

The Saudi-led Arab coalition in Marib, east of the capital Sana'a, intercepted a ballistic missile fired by the Houthi gunmen towards the city, eyewitnesses said on Monday.

Eyewitnesses told Almasdaronline that the defenses missile launched from the coalition's Tadawin camp destroyed the missile in the sky before reaching its targets.

They reported a light cloud of smoke formed after the rocket blast.

The Houthis frequently bombard Marib city, under the control of government forces, and its headquarters, with ballistic missiles, but the air defenses intercept them every time.
