Two soldiers of the Shabwani elite army were killed in clashes against gunmen in Shabwah

Two soldiers of the UAE-backed al-Shwaniyah elite were killed and a third injured in clashes against tribal gunmen on Thursday noon in the al-Masaina’h district of the Saeed Directorate in the southeastern province of Shabwah.

The bodies of two elite soldiers arrived at the hospital, while a third soldier was wounded, following clashes against militants in the market of the Al- Masaina’h area, a government source at the Al-Ataq General Hospital told Almasdar online.

He explained that the confrontations erupted after elite forces prevented the entry of weapons into the Masaina’h market, but a number of people in the area insisted on entering the market, armed as usual.

According to the source, the elite forces prevented the gunmen from entering after the weapons were placed in the secretariats, which were rejected by the gunmen, and the order develops into the cases of the clashes and the shooting.

The Shabouani elite forces imposed the campaign to prevent carrying arms in the town of Ataq, the Governorate Centre and the District Directorate, after a day of clashes with members of the ATAQ axis forces.
